DXL Dual Carriage Table

The DXL dual carriage linear-motor table offers a precision platform for controlled translation and positioning of two independent carriages on the same linear travel path.Having a precision ground base and bearing ways common to both carriages, the DXL ensures superior carriage to carriage flatness and coplanar motion. Each carriage is independently driven by an ironless linear motor to minimize velocity ripple and optimize responsiveness.
  • Dual carriages - independently driven
  • Ultra precise velocity control
  • Selectable encoder resolutions to 20 nanometers
  • Tooling reference surface and dowel holes on both carriages
  • No moving cables
  • Superior co-planar motion carriage to carriage
  • Preconfigured digital servo drives - compatible with all industry standard motion controllers
  • Hardshell cover protection (IP30)
  • Adjustable end of travel sensors with selectable outputs
  • Clean room compatible
