Parker's MPF food-grade motors were developed for severe washdown conditions even with extremely harsh chemicals.  The motors are coated with Dupont Teflon, which is FDA approved and impervious to most chemicals.  It provides a "non-stick" finish which helps reduce clean-up time. Moisture resistant connectors, when combined with Parker's potted wash-down cables, assure that moisture and chemicals remain external to the motor.
