  • PROMech Total Value Calculator 2.0 02/12/07

    The PROmech Total Value Calculator is designed to display real costs and total time to produce a given solution in the miniature linear motion market. This program accounts for delays in shipping, inventory, assembly, testing, etc time. The program also accounts for the added costs of shipping multiple components and the engineering costs associated with the new design. The program is an excel based program with macros and calculations.


    Gemini Motor Table 1.23.00 05/03/11

    The Gemini Motor table is a text file that contains all the necessary motor parameters for the Compumotor motors and is used in conjunction with Motion Planner and Pocket Motion Planner. Although this file is included with the downloads of Motion Planner and Pocket Motion Planner, updates will be made periodically and released on this web site. Note that many of these parameters are not conventionally available on the motor nameplate or in the specification sheets.

    Gemini Motor Table Update Procedure

    Updating Motion Planner

    1. Download the updated gem_motors.mtr file to your PC.
    2. Make sure it is named gem_motors.mtr.
    3. Transfer the file to your Motion Planner directory (for default installations this is \Program Files\Compumotor\Motion Planner).

    6K & GV6K/GT6K Operating System  Jan 2014

    With the use of flash memory in the 6K, you can now easily upgrade your controller's firmware by simply downloading the latest file available on this web site. Motion Planner contain utilities to make this process as easy as clicking a mouse. Please refer to the release notes accompanying the firmware file for further information.

    NOTE: This OS is used in the 6K and GV6K/GT6K.
     
     


    6K, Gemini & GV6K/GT6K Communications Server OCX 9/30/03

    The Com6srvr.ocx control is an Active X (OCX) control-a visual element that you can add to a form-to make communications possible with the Compumotor 6K, Gem6K and Gemini Controller. Designed primarily for Microsoft Visual Basic programmers and HMI (human-machine interface) applications that can use Active X controls, the Com6srvr.ocx encapsulates the Com6srvr INet, IRS232, IGem6K and IGemini COM control. Using the OCX, you can expect a small degradation in communications speed.


    6K Communications Server OPC 5/10/04

    The OPC (Ole for Process Control) allows a OPC Client to login to and communicate with the 6K. This is the preferred communication method for IneractX to be used with the 6K.

    NOTE: The 6K OPC Server requires a CD-Key for installation. This is a purchased item. If you have not purchased the 6K OPC Server, please contact your local distributor for Purchasing Information. If you have purchased the 6K OPC Server, you can find the CD-Key on the Compumotor Software License Card.

    6000 Drivers & Samples 1.3 (7/21/04)

    Compumotor's 6000 Drivers & Samples software is used by Motion Architect to communicate to the 6000 Series controlers. The Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs) included may also be used by higher level Windows-based software packages such as Visual Basic and Visual C++ to communicate to the 6000 Series controllers.
