Three Levels of Product
ACR-MotionMax comes in 3 different product levels. Each level is designed to meet or exceed the
requirements of both novice and professional motion control developers.
In each level of ACR-MotionMax, the users gets a fully programmable API system to build their own
custom User Interface. The fully documented API system is loaded with examples including a Visual
Basic Example complete with source code.
If you don't want to create your own User Interface, use the standard configurable ACR-MotionMax
Interface. ACR-MotionMax's "out-of-the-box" interface is completely configurable and you don't
have to be a programmer to use it.
Level 1...Designed for 2 axis motion control, Level 1 features Linear and Circular Interpolation,
Homing to switches, rapid and feed rate overrides, graphical display, and a fully compliant G Code
interpreter with completely configurable M Code functions.
Level 2...Designed for 3 axis motion control, Level 2 combines all of the features of Level 1
along with Tool Length Compensation Tables, Work Offsets (100 in all), and Direct Spindle control.
Level 3...Designed for up to 4 axis of simutaneous motion control, Level 3 features all of the
features of Levels 1 and 2 along with complex Tool Change controls, XY/XZ/YZ arc interpolation,
full cutter compensation, programmable scaling and rotating, as well as industry standard G70-G89
canned cycles.

ACR-MotionMax Interface...
ACR-MotionMax comes with a ready-to-go User Interface. Industry standard control buttons like Edit,
Run, Jog, MDI and Offsets along with popular Feed, Rapid and Spindle overrides are standard features
on the ACR-MotionMax interface.
If you are a builder or developer and want your controls system to be unique, you can create your own
using the MotionCore API software. All functions in the MotionCore API are documented in detail
with example call outs in both Visual C++ and Visual Basic. ACR-MotionMax evens comes with a
Microsoft Visual Basic sample interface.
Diagnostics made easy...
Never again will you have to perform diagnostics on complex bit structures for Inputs and Outputs. The
User Interface of ACR-MotionMax is easy read and use. If a bit is on, it’s blue…otherwise its
white.
Jogging and Homing...
|
Clicking on the Jog button or pressing F4 immediately takes you into the Jog screen. From here
you can manually jog all of your axes in either the positive or negative directions at the
default jog rate or at a fast rate. If you have a Handwheel or MPG for jogging, it
integrates easily into the ACR-MotionMax system.
If your motion system requires homing, give a single click to the Home All button and its finished.
You can also Home each axis independently.

Tool and Work Offsets made easy...
Never before has it been so easy to have full control over Tool and Work Offsets. ACR-MotionMax has
the ability to store up to 200 Tool Offsets and up to 100 Work Offsets all with this easy,
functional screen. Notice the ability to perform jogging functions directly without the need
to have the jogging screen up at the same time.
