Parker Launches Aries Controller
Combining the versatile and cost-effective Aries digital servo drive platform with the advanced control capabilities of the ACR servo controller, Parker’s new Aries Controller offers users a single-axis servo drive/controller with Ethernet communication and HMI connectivity.
The Aries Controller is configured, tuned and programmed using Parker’s comprehensive ACRView software environment. The ACRView environment also supports Parker’s traditional analog multi-axis controls and drives and the ETHERNET Powerlink motionbus system, allowing users to switch between single-axis and multi-axis projects without having to relearn a different programming language or environment, saving time and lowering overall motion costs.

The MaxPlus-J is designed for those applications with higher load inertia, and needing a closer inertia matched motor, than what is currently available.
The MPJ, like the MPP, is designed for the demanding applications found in today’s servo systems.
The MPJ is offered as a standard option on four frame sizes from the MPJ092 to the MPJ142.
It is available as a custom motor option on the MPP190, MPP230, and MPP270mm motors
Two new Electromechanical Automation products won 'runner up' awards in the Control Engineering 'Product of the Year' competition. The Ethernet Powerlink MotionBus controller and drives tied for second place in the Motors, Motion Control & Drives - Motion Control category, and Interact Xpress and XPR PowerStations took second place in the Human Machine Interface and Industrial PCs - HMI Hardware category.
